5128
For almost 40 years, the Psychological Stress Evaluator™ (PSE®) has been known worldwide for being the most superior system for lie detection. ONLY Dektor® invented PSE® and Voice Stress Analysis™ in 1970. Only the PSE system of Voice Stress Analysis has been proven completely accurate for determining truth or deception in criminal cases, employment screening and for all types of psychological evaluations.
In 2003, the PSE analog instrument was redesigned into digital technology. The PSE hardware was converted to software on a CD. The CD program is easily and quickly loaded into any PC (XP or later), laptop or desktop. Just a few simple steps are needed to load the PSE 5128. A security key is provided and must always used to eliminate unwanted users access to the stored files. In case the computer is lost or stolen, nobody can access the stored lie detection cases.The computer is still able to do any of its other functions. Anyone who used the earlier PSE models (PSE 1, PSE 101, PSE Dek, PSE 2000, PSE 4202), knew PSE was easy to use.
The NEW PSE 5128 is even easier to use than ever. The 5128 provides the same fantastic accuracy that has made the PSE famous worldwide for 40 years! A recording is still made of the entire interview and kept for 10 years for review or as evidence, such as if a confession was obtained. Without the recorder, important details or a confession would be lost. Some law enforcement departments still rely on the old type of written confession by a subject. Courts and juries usually reject written confessions as not trustworthy. A judge or jury can hear a recorded confession in the subjects own voice and words. That will always win the case. Polygraph, computer polygraph and imitation “voice lie detectors” do not use a recorder. They suffer greatly because of that.
A top quality recorder is provided with each PSE 5128 system. There are many new changes on the PSE 5128. For example,on older PSE models, each verbal answer of the subject had to be charted using many steps. The PSE 5128 eliminates that. The recorder is connected to the computer by two cables that are provided. The taped recorded test questions and answers are replayed into the computer. At the top half of the PSE 5128 computer screen are rows of answer boxes. There are 65 answer boxes that can be used. At the bottom half of the computer screen, the Raw Voice Data is displayed. The Raw Voice Data is the recorded information that was entered into the computer. Each answer of the subject is “clipped” from the Raw Voice Data. The clipped answers are automatically stored and charted in the answer boxes. The examiner can display each answer in various sizes and in different ways for an in-depth analysis. A change to the patterns appearance is done with just a click of the mouse and can be preserved. You can enlarge the patterns to various sizes and compare them to each other. You can also enlarge a small part of the pattern for superior evaluation. Patterns can be displayed on the computer screen or printed out on any computer printer. No more buying expensive rolls of chart paper like on earlier PSE models. No more replacing those expensive chart printers or the heat stylus needles. All cases can be stored as files in the PSE program and recalled already charted. All questions and answers can be heard at any time after they have been entered and stored in the computer. The examiner can type in various types of information to be stored, including his name, subject’s name, date, type of case, test questions and their answers of yes or no.
Narrative Analysis is a exclusive feature of the Dektor PSE system. Any audio recorded or videotaped statement, of any length, in any language, overtly or covertly can be evaluated to determine truth or deception. On older PSE’s models, for Narrative Analysis, each word had to be entered manually into the PSE and then manually charted. That was very difficult and time consuming. It also made Narrative Analysis very expensive for the client, such as insurance companies for insurance fraud cases. Many times, with the earlier PSE versions, words were not able to be charted because the speaker’s volume was too low on the tape recording. Missing words could influence the outcome of a decision. PSE examiners in the private sector lost a lot of business because customers thought the prices were too high for Narrative Analysis. That high cost excluded many other types of clients. The PSE 5128 eliminates that. The entire statement can be entered and the charting of the words is quick and simple for precise evaluation. The examiner can type in the word for each pattern and place it anywhere near the pattern he wants so he can read the sentence and see the patterns at the same time. Evaluation is a lot easier and completely accurate. Manhours are reduced dramatically for Narrative Analysis using PSE 5128. That makes the cost less and the service is far more affordable to more types of clients, such as airports for passenger screening for security reasons and for insurance companies for insurance fraud. This ability is used at different types of security checkpoints in other countries and by insurance companies around the world.
The price of the PSE 5128 is only $6,500. Training is only $1,400 per person for the 7 day course. The same training techniques that were taught in 1970 are taught today. Anybody that used the earlier PSE models can INSTANTLY use the PSE 5128. No new training class would be required! The Operations Manual to use the PSE 5128 is about 5 pages. That proves the PSE 5128 is still the “Easy to Learn, Easy to Use” system for lie detection. The PSE 5128 will be the LAST instrument the examiner will have to buy. Why? Because after the PSE 5128 CD program is loaded into the computer, the CD is removed from the computer and stored. If the computer is lost, stolen or destroyed, the examiner simply reloads the PSE 5128 CD into another computer. No more buying another PSE instrument because it breaks or is out of style. There is even a security key that is coded to the examiner so if the computer is ever stolen, nobody can access the cases. Imitation “voice lie detectors” preinstall their software into a PC they also make you pay for. If their imitation breaks, lost, stolen or just outdated, you have to buy a brand new machine from them at FULL cost. Dektor will never do that!
